Watch chain made by Boer P.O.W. from pieces of bone collected from rationed meat and odd pieces of wire. Brought home by 3198 Lance Corporal Horace Garner from a prisoner of war camp in Ceylon. 1st Battalion, The Gloucestershire Regiment. Garner was killed in action at Loos 1915 with 10th Battalion, The Gloucestershire Regiment.
